Future development of Waste Heat Recovery (WHR) Systems
In this project, four partners are working together to utilize the waste heat from the engine to heat up steam for a turbo generator.
The four partners working together are Odense Steel Ship Yard A/S, A. P. Moller-Maersk, MAN Diesel and Aalborg Industries.
This project also includes the installation of a new exhaust gas boiler and a turbo generator on an appropriate Maersk vessel.
There is a potential of up to 14 % CO2 reduction with a new optimized Waste Heat Recovery System.
