This project will investigate the potential of optimisation of pump and auxiliary systems.
There is a huge potential in energy saving in different auxiliary systems on a vessel. Many vessels have a lot of cooling, transferring of fluids, heating, stand-by functions etc. To have shipyards, suppliers and operators working together in an integration/ optimisation / atomisation process, with modern optimisation tools, fuel can be saved and thereby CO2 emissions reduced.
